I’ve definitely been on a high shoe kick lately, I could dedicate a whole blog to shoes and what I love about each pair. So for now, I’ll tell you this relationship I’m having with my current favorite style- mules. They are all over the runways, your grandparents had them when they were kids and you have probably even seen them in your girlfriends closet.

I can tell you that I haven’t taken mine off since I’ve gotten them. And I also plan on wearing them all summer long!

Happy Friday! Well we made it through another week, can you believe it?!

As the weekend rolls in and we plan for all the exciting festivities, I cant be more stoked about what I’ll be wearing this weekend. I picked up this cable top coat and paired it with this patterned shirt. I am loving sneakers right now, and I love pairing them with different outfits! Especially for all your weekend festivities. I keep asking myself what’s one thing that I couldn’t live without? What’s one thing I want to wear but only can for a few joyish occasions? Well, I think I found that one thing-How about a pure white from this point on? Pure white until it turns into winter white. You with me? So when in doubt always go with the first white piece you see. There will be many times where these pure white pieces will come in handy.

Spring style with Banana Republic

Three words: Spring. Is. Here. And it’s here to stay!

If you pointed me in the direction of my closet and asked me to pick out my go to piece, I would tell you that I would go for the combo of a perfectly fitted blazer with a skinny tie and a pocket square.

So when this white linen shirt and these khaki shorts arrived from Banana Republic, it was like a whole new world. I mean it’s officially spring and if linen is not going to comfort us and be our best friend…then what is? And I am a sucker for a good crisp white shirt. Add a little linen to the mix and it makes it even better. It’s a perfect shirt for during the day with shorts-for more of a casual setting and you can also pair it with jeans and throw on with some loafers for a date night. -As far as being 5’7 and depending on how high my hair could be that day. I always say for shorts, the shorter…the better.

These shorts here from Banana Republic are easy and comfortable, even the length hits perfectly above the knee. Pair it with a tee, polo, or even the a denim or white button down. It doesn’t get any better then that, does it? In the upcoming months, I don’t know if you know but Dallas is going to warm up and be just plain HOT. And a lot of these days will be in the triple digits. Thanks to Banana Republic, this new go to will make it so much easier to stay cool and be effortless this spring.
