New season, new wardrobe? Am I right? Season after season it’s important to always add statement pieces and mix it in with your basics. So we have all our outfits completed including a brand new wardrobe. But what’s also important is smelling the part!Making sure that the fragrance we spray is like the icing on the cake before walking out the door. As spring is in full force, it’s always great to change up your signature scent so you can smell fresh. So why not give Polo Red Extreme a go when changing up your scent for the current season?! It’s one of my new favorite colognes with a scent that’s fresh and unforgettable. A scent that you can smell from a distance and know that it’s going to get even better as you get closer. Polo Red Extreme is an updated masculine scent for the everyday man. A cologne for every event and every occasion. To the office and back, and even going to dinner with your significant other.

I’ve been wearing Polo Red Extreme for the past couple of weeks, and it makes me feel more confident with an edge. Especially because it lasts all day! With such a long lasting scent, I don’t have to worry anymore about refreshing my cologne when I’m heading back to the indoors from the outdoors in these Texas spring temperatures. I can tell that this fragrance will be such a great scent for my everyday wear. All the way from starting my early mornings to ending my nights. Polo Red Extreme is all about the fresh scent and making you feel like a million bucks when you walk out your door!

It’s been such a great few days in New York for Men’s Fashion Week. The past couple of days have been jam packed with shows, presentations, meetings, and playing catch up with all my favorite bloggers and friends in this crazy industry. I was super stoked about this day in particular- I got the chance to get up close and personal with all the backstage looks for the Todd Snyder Fall/ Winter 2017 fashion show. One of my favorite shows I look forward to every season!

My favorite part was getting to see the Bumble and Bumble team in action while getting all the models ready! Side note- I’m obsessing over all the new products by Bumble and Bumble! This was definitely a moment I will never forget and it gets me so excited for more opportunities like this! Thanks again Bumble and Bumble and Todd Snyder for having me! Be sure to follow along for more behind the scenes from New York Fashion Week Men’s.

Blazer: Express; Shirt: Tommy Hilfiger; Jeans: Kenzo; Tie: c/o The Tie Bar; Shoes: Gucci; Pocket Square: c/o The Tie Bar; Sunglasses: Tom Ford; Watch: Apple

I wanna say about 7 months ago I was introduced to a handful of blues, shades of blue that is. As I got more familiar with these choices, and continued to add different shades of blue in my outfits. This is an updated version of a blazer-6and not your dads traditional navy blazer but a new approach to what you may see in a window or down a runway. So bacially, what I’m trying to say is that navy is something I can’t stop wearing, buying, and dreaming about! It’s just the perfect combo with everything I’ve been wearing. Even when it’s over 100 degrees during the day or at night. Navy is here to stay and I can’t to show you off.

What’s your favorite navy piece?

It’s Summer in New York City and after four days of being in the big apple, the last thing I wanna do is wear a suit! As we come to day 3 of New York Fashion Week Men’s, I’ve decided to ditch my normal uniform and go with a different look. This look was comfortable and stylish! The bandana just gave it more edge. I’ve been wearing this look lately and it’s all I’ve been seeing on the runways. Even though all these runway looks are for Spring and Summer 2017, I can gladly tell you…its a trend that’s here to stay! So why not start early?

If I told you that a two piece suit got me more excited than coffee and a good pair of shoes, would you believe me? And y’all know how much I love my coffee and shoes! I’ve been living in a two piece suit, whether it’s for work or a night out. It’s like a simple pant suit for me but a better, more comfortable, tailored version. So comfortable that you can even pair it with t-shirts, henleys, and your traditional button down shirts!

Also, I can’t believe it’s time for another New York Fashion Week Mens! Be sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat for all the exclusives and behind the scenes.

Summer Anthem

Shirt:Topman; Jeans: Topman; Shoes: Birkenstocks; Hat: Barneys New York; Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington; Sunglasses: RayBans

Who doesn’t love a good long weekend? Can you believe it, we are six months into the year. Half way through?! I can barely get my head wrapped around that. Lately, I’ve been wearing short sleeved everything. T-shirts, henleys, and of course short sleeve shirts. Now don’t get it confused with your dad’s shirt. It’s a slimmer and more updated version of the dad shirt. I call it “dad chic.” Yep, that’s what I call them. And I can’t stop wearing them. The perfect shirt to pair with jeans or shorts.

It’s no surprise for me to say that a suit or blazer is what I practically live and breath in. Layering has been a great way to build my wardrobe or add key staple pieces.

Summer is finally here and it is blazing hot! I keep getting asked if it’s okay to wear a tie or if it’s okay to wear a blazer/suit. Especially during the crazy Texas heat that we have. I always say YES. Even when the weather is hot, it’s always okay to wear a suit or blazer (for fashion purposes). I’ve been mixing suit separates and blazers with jeans and light fabric trousers. Play with it, mix and match it and see how many different ways you can wear something you’ve owned in you’re closet for a long time! You can thank me later.

What’s your favorite suit or blazer?
