It’s been a minute since I got back to my roots and back in a suit. If you couldn’t tell by now, my choice of clothing is usually a suit. It gets me so excited to put on a suit and all the pieces that go with it. It’s something I look forward to wearing from work, to weddings to parties, and even galas. It’s definitely a process to get into one and remain comfortable in one, but I sure do appreciate a nice tailored suit! From picking out the tie, to matching the pocket square, and of course matching the endless sock choices, I just can’t get enough! And don’t worry, you’ll see this combo from Bows N Ties all fall long!

If I could wear a suit every day, I definitely would. All day, everyday.

Lately, I’ve been wearing so much white, SO MUCH WHITE! From running errands, to going to dinner, and even to the gym. The white craze is still going strong and I definitely don’t want to see Labor day weekend arrive anytime soon, and take it away from me because that just means this relationship with white will have to come to an end. And I don’t want to let it go just yet! So I’m holding on for a few more days…white was the perfect color for me this summer and I can’t wait for next summer.

I wanna say about 7 months ago I was introduced to a handful of blues, shades of blue that is. As I got more familiar with these choices, and continued to add different shades of blue in my outfits. This is an updated version of a blazer-6and not your dads traditional navy blazer but a new approach to what you may see in a window or down a runway. So bacially, what I’m trying to say is that navy is something I can’t stop wearing, buying, and dreaming about! It’s just the perfect combo with everything I’ve been wearing. Even when it’s over 100 degrees during the day or at night. Navy is here to stay and I can’t to show you off.

What’s your favorite navy piece?

It’s Summer in New York City and after four days of being in the big apple, the last thing I wanna do is wear a suit! As we come to day 3 of New York Fashion Week Men’s, I’ve decided to ditch my normal uniform and go with a different look. This look was comfortable and stylish! The bandana just gave it more edge. I’ve been wearing this look lately and it’s all I’ve been seeing on the runways. Even though all these runway looks are for Spring and Summer 2017, I can gladly tell you…its a trend that’s here to stay! So why not start early?

If I told you that a two piece suit got me more excited than coffee and a good pair of shoes, would you believe me? And y’all know how much I love my coffee and shoes! I’ve been living in a two piece suit, whether it’s for work or a night out. It’s like a simple pant suit for me but a better, more comfortable, tailored version. So comfortable that you can even pair it with t-shirts, henleys, and your traditional button down shirts!

Summer Anthem

Who doesn’t love a good long weekend? Can you believe it, we are six months into the year. Half way through?! I can barely get my head wrapped around that. Lately, I’ve been wearing short sleeved everything. T-shirts, henleys, and of course short sleeve shirts. Now don’t get it confused with your dad’s shirt. It’s a slimmer and more updated version of the dad shirt. I call it “dad chic.” Yep, that’s what I call them. And I can’t stop wearing them. The perfect shirt to pair with jeans or shorts.

Summer Threads with Express

Shirt: c/o Express; Shorts: c/o Express; Sunglasses: c/o ZeroUV; Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smith; Watch: AppleWatch

One of my go to’s for Spring/Summer has been short sleeve shirts. Anything with a shorter sleeve has my name all over it! I call it the updated dad shirt. So when this shirt came in from Express, I couldn’t wait to wear it especially with these navy shorts. Just the perfect combo for a hot Texas, Summer day. I’ve also been appreciating that navy is the new black. I can’t stop wearing navy on navy or different shades of blue together. I’ll also be wearing this 1MX shirt by Express with chinos or even a darker denim jean. So either way you wear it, it always goes!

What do you guys think?
