New season, new wardrobe? Am I right? Season after season it’s important to always add statement pieces and mix it in with your basics. So we have all our outfits completed including a brand new wardrobe. But what’s also important is smelling the part!Making sure that the fragrance we spray is like the icing on the cake before walking out the door. As spring is in full force, it’s always great to change up your signature scent so you can smell fresh. So why not give Polo Red Extreme a go when changing up your scent for the current season?! It’s one of my new favorite colognes with a scent that’s fresh and unforgettable. A scent that you can smell from a distance and know that it’s going to get even better as you get closer. Polo Red Extreme is an updated masculine scent for the everyday man. A cologne for every event and every occasion. To the office and back, and even going to dinner with your significant other.

I’ve been wearing Polo Red Extreme for the past couple of weeks, and it makes me feel more confident with an edge. Especially because it lasts all day! With such a long lasting scent, I don’t have to worry anymore about refreshing my cologne when I’m heading back to the indoors from the outdoors in these Texas spring temperatures. I can tell that this fragrance will be such a great scent for my everyday wear. All the way from starting my early mornings to ending my nights. Polo Red Extreme is all about the fresh scent and making you feel like a million bucks when you walk out your door!

I can’t believe it’s time for another season. New York Fashion Week Men’s is here again! I’m currently in New York for the next whole week for men’s fashion week. I’m so excited to see the new collections for Fall, and can’t wait to get my fashion game on! So bring on the shows, presentations, friends from both coasts, and of course lots of outfit changes. If I told you that a two piece suit got me more excited than coffee and a good pair of shoes, would you believe me? And y’all know how much I love my coffee and shoes! I’ve been living in a two piece suit, whether it’s for work or a night out. It’s like a simple pant suit for me but a better, more comfortable, tailored version. So comfortable that you can even pair it with t-shirts, henleys, and your traditional button down shirts!

Also, I can’t believe it’s time for another New York Fashion Week Mens! Be sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat for all the exclusives and behind the scenes.

It’s no surprise for me to say that a suit or blazer is what I practically live and breath in. Layering has been a great way to build my wardrobe or add key staple pieces.

Summer is finally here and it is blazing hot! I keep getting asked if it’s okay to wear a tie or if it’s okay to wear a blazer/suit. Especially during the crazy Texas heat that we have. I always say YES. Even when the weather is hot, it’s always okay to wear a suit or blazer (for fashion purposes). I’ve been mixing suit separates and blazers with jeans and light fabric trousers. Play with it, mix and match it and see how many different ways you can wear something you’ve owned in you’re closet for a long time! You can thank me later.

What’s your favorite suit or blazer?

Lately, I’ve been all about casual dress downs and comfort. Comfort is slowly beginning to take over my wardrobe and style choices. I’m more excited these days to start getting dressed from the bottom up than top to bottom. Starting with shoes that is! Does it get any better than a wing tip and thick comfort sole? I have been wearing these a lot and pairing them with suits, trousers, jeans and even shorts. I also will be throwing these babies into my fall wardrobe!

What are your favorite shoes right now?

Fashion X Dallas: Project Runway

Fashion X Dallas was finally ready to be shown at F.I.G. It’s like a revamped Fashion Week or may I say “Dallas Fashion Week.” It was an anticipated event for all of Dallas’ fashion lovers, myself included!

IMG_0853-1.JPG

Saturday night was the last day of three jammed pack days for the Fashion Industry Gallery. In my books FIG never disappoints and it definitely did not disappoint this time around either. Designers have models strut their collections down the runway. Bloggers, stylists, and local designers were all there to witness this phenomenal event. All the designers who showed their collections are all well known in the fashion industry. They were designers from Lifetimes television show Project Runway. All my favorites showed their collections including Mychael Knight, Michelle Lesniak, Melissa Fleis, Laura Kathleen, Korto Momolu, Jeffery Sebelia, Daniel Esquivel, and Anthony Ryan Auld.

Fashion X Dallas was founded by Matt Swinney. Bravo Mr. Swinney! (Slow claps) Three back to back nights full of fashion is not easy to put on. Thank you for bringing it to Dallas and thank you to the F.I.G team for having me there!

Can’t wait to see what Fashion X Dallas brings next year to the big D! Visit http://www.FashionXDallas.com for information. Here are some highlights from the finale.

Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter for more Fashion X Dallas!

Well, as we go into day 2 of New York Fashion Week, even though it was September… it still seemed like one of the hottest weeks of New York! It almost made me think I was still in Dallas. It consisted of a full day of shows, running to the next venue, spending the evening with fall previews and lounging with fellow bloggers. Friday morning as I was headed to Lincoln Center for the next show with The Fashionably Broke, my gal pal, I was snapped by a street style photographer. If you follow me on Instgram, you saw that this photo was on Woman’s Wear Daily Street Style Looks of New York Fashion Week!!

That’s why I always say: never deny an opportunity to take a photo! Thank you Woman’s Wear Daily!

I was invited to an exclusive preview of the new Altuzarra for Target collection. This event was part of the New York Fashion Week festivities, and an anticipated collection everyone was waiting for. It was by far this year’s hottest fashion collaboration event of the season. For years now I have been a huge fan of Joseph Altuzarra and of course Target! Who isn’t a fan of Target?! I’m there almost 3x a week!

I got to rub elbows with Naomie Harris, Keri Russell, Naomi Watts, Alexa Chung, Leandra Medine, and Brad Goreski. The collection was filled with shift dresses to a-line skirts and booties for days. (The ones you put on your feet!) It showed off sexy and confident for the all rounded woman. Ladies, you must snag a piece and add it to your wardrobe! Be sure to head to Target and checkout the Altuzarra X Target collection, in stores now.

Thank you Altuzarra, Target, and Net-A-Porter for inviting me!

Sincerely,
StyldByZ
