For many years I’ve said you should never mix your blues and blacks together. Kinda like frenimies, you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them, right? Before I get to the good part let me start with the bad.

I always get asked why black and I always say why not? It’s black. After living in black at fashion week and bringing it back to Dallas it just sticks…all year round.

Lately, I’ve been wearing black (Of Course) but also pairing my black with lots of navy. From navy jackets to navy suede boots to navy socks. Which I never wear unless I’m in New York. Navy is becoming it’s own trend and I’m proud to be part of it. So when this Topman blazer came in, I couldn’t resist to put it on and pair it with all black.

It’s safe to say navy is our friend and it will be for a while. Who’s with me?
